After having spent a few years working as a lawyer, she had a brief spell at the court of appeal in Amsterdam, working as a judicial clerk. Mr. Groenendaal is a member of the Dutch Association of Criminal Law Attorneys and works in cooperation with Defence for Children International (DCI) in Amsterdam on a regular basis. Mr. Groenendaal also gives courses in the field of juvenile criminal law.
